Who teach the 2+ rank of the basic longbow strike and exploit?

Same thing for all the other basic attacks.

Nobody. You can't level those attacks up.

So they are meant to be substituted by other feats?
The exploit at least is good enough that I would want to upgrade it.

It will start to fall behind as you get better gear and other skills.

I wonder if exploit will *ever* become obsolete, even though you can't upgrade it. I am sure it will but not for some time.

I now have my +2 Long bow, and I do start off with an Overdraw(at level 3) if I know I can one shot the mob with it, and can spare the Endurance.

If I need to watch my End however, Longbow basic strike is still better to start off with then level 2 of Sorrows Release. Takes off more damage and the Distressed state that Sorrows Release evokes is not very useful. Quick damage is all you need.

So it's still mostly Basic Strike and Exploit. But this is against mobs; against PC's it may be more opportune to make use of the different states. Apart from Opportunity off course, which is extremel important in PvE too. I.e. is the state that makes Exploit so powerful.

Sorrow releas combined with Parting shot is a killer tho ... And the retreat movemen gives some valuable seconds to gather some stamina to get in one more of high-power attacks.
