Advice needed on Hosteling Armor Enchant

Hi there,
I am in need of some advice concerning the Hosteling armor enchant.
As stated here, here
the enchantment lets you store a bonded animal within the armor.
But what about its equipment, armor, saddle, etc? Are those left behind or stored as well? How would your rule it?

If you rule that the animal can go in wearing its armor, just be aware that it's technically sleeping, and not in suspended animation.

If it goes in wearing medium or light armor, it will emerge with the fatigued condition (barring abilities like Comfort and such).
