Hey All,
I have a quick question, hopefully I am right. I am a noob to this awesome game. I just played solo through Brigandoom for the third time and I think I finally won. The villain escaped to the only available location. So when I explored that location I came upon the henchmen, defeated him and it said I could attempt to close. To close I had to summon a henchmen and defeat him to close. So I then defeated him. Do I then need to pull out the villain and defeat him? I assumed that because he had nowhere to escape to that I won?....is that correct?
Thanks!!!

Whenever you close a location a villain might be in, after you succeed at the closing check, you search the location deck. If you find a villain, the location does not close. You banish all the non-villain cards and leave the location open. You then encounter the villain(s) like you would any card.
Typically, a scenario has a single villain, and if you defeat the villain and he or she has nowhere to escape to, you win.
