Number of playerd in PFS modules???

Pathfinder Society

I am getting ready to run the night march of kalkamedes and see that there are notes for changing the adventure if there are exactly four PCs. However, the module does not actually state how many adventurers the module was designed for in the first place. I may need to make some other scaling adjustments because of the way our party is setup, but I dont know how to adjust if of dont know what it was designed for in the first place. How many PCs is Klakmedes designed for? Is it the same for all PFS modules?

4/5 *****

Make sure to check out the free download, guide to organized play. It has a GM section which covers the min and max players. Also the only real adjustment is for four players. If its tier 1-2 or tier 4-5, just follow as the scenario says.

Scarab Sages 4/5

PFS scenarios for Seasons 4-6 are designed for 6 players, but they will list an adjustment for 4 players. Whether or not to apply that adjustment depends on the Average Party Level and the number of characters.

If you are running this for PFS and plan to distribute chronicle sheets, then by campaign rules, you aren't allowed to make any adjustments to the difficulty of the scenario beyond what is listed in the scenario. If you're running this as part of a home group and not for PFS credit, hopefully that gives you the information you need.

The rules for when to use the 4-player adjustment are in the Pathfinder Society Guide to Organized Play. If this is your first time running a scenario for PFS, I suggest reading the section on game mastering in the guide. You can get the guide HERE.

Just running this as a private module for my non PFS group. Guide gets me on track though. Thanks to both of you.
