[PFS] Bonded Item for a Bard

Advice

I'm getting ready to pick up Eldritch Heritage (Arcane) on my bard, and I'm trying to decide what bonded item to take. I really want to take advantage of the 1/2 price discount on enchanting it, so I'm looking for the best amulet, ring, or staff (not interested in a wand, and he doesn't use weapons).

Here's what I'm looking at so far:
-Ring of Wizardry II (Pro: I can hand out heroism like candy. Con: Still expensive, even at half price)
-Necklace of Fireballs (Pro: Cost-effective way to bring AoE damage. Con: Super-dangerous if I fail the wrong save, though I have a few ways to reroll saves)
-Staff of Healing (Several restorations per scenario, plus good heals if I need them)
-Staff of Radiance (Spamming glitterdust, and the odd daylight or searing light if I need it)

I know there are some great staves with 4th-level spells on them, but I don't want to wait until level 10 before I can recharge my own staff. Is there anything I'm missing?

Staff of the Master is great if you use metamagic.

Oh, I'd love that staff, but none of those spells are bard spells, so I couldn't recharge it myself.

Well, it could be if you were a dirge bard or a magician... :)

Sadly, the ship has sailed on that. Any other suggestions?

Staff of Spiders is good for utility, control, and summoning, and you can recharge it.

Staff of Travel is good for a boost to speed, and teleport/fly/ dimension door as needed. You can recharge it too.

Edit: A Musical Staff might be cool for a bard. It gives a +5 to perform checks, and lets you spam wall of sound.

I just don't see the spider summoning being relevant by the time I get it. Spider Climb would be nice, but cheap to replicate with consumables. Web would be cool, I guess. But I'd rather have the Staff of Radiance, I think.

I can recharge the Staff of Travel... starting at level 13, when I get 5th level spells. So it's kind of out of the running for PFS.

In case it matters, this is for a full-on support Bard, who focuses almost exclusively on buffing.

Bumping this, because I've got a convention coming up. I'm now leaning toward getting a wand as my bonded item, and I'm open to suggestions. Here's what I've come up with so far:

Haste (5625 gp): Always useful, but pricey, and at CL5, may run out or not catch all the party.
Good Hope (7875 gp): Even more expensive, but more broadly useful for all classes.
Investigative Mind (2250 gp): I plan on keeping this spell running a lot, but the wand will only last for 30 minutes/3 rerolls, so the wand will get used up faster than my own spell slots.
Heroism (5625 gp): Great buff to hand out to martials, but expensive. I can use a lower-level spell slot when casting it myself.
Bear's Endurance (requires UMD check), Blur, or Invisibility (2250 gp): Cheap buffs, and invisibility has great utility, but perhaps a bit lack-luster.

Any other suggestions?

I've never understood the lack of love for bards on this board. Everybody wants to be that bad-ass destroyer martial and forgets about their buddy in the background adding to their bad-assery.

What level are you? What buff spells do you use?

I love bards. I love them more when they are using a bow or a reach weapon and adding to the party damage directly as well as being buff bots.

Ring of Invisability. AC and scouting tool.

Lesser rod of echoing spell. You want to hand out heroism like candy. This is a 2 castings for 1 cost.

Lesser rod of quicken spell. Because more buffs faster.

As far as I know, I can't make a rod my bonded objects. And I'm considering Invisibility (although I'd rather go for a wand than ring), but I think I'd rather get something that would more directly benefit my wife's fighter, or boost my own skill utility.

There are some rods that count as weapons. Not sure if they metamagics are included or not. I always play with a familiar or a bonded ring. (so I never have to take Forge ring). I do know you can create some Rods as weapons tho like Rod of Thunder and Lightning .

The ring of Invisibility does help your stealth skill utility. Being able to invisibility scout ahead is an amazing asset to a group. It also allows you to not need to invest in other AC items and put that gold to other things.

Your character directly Benefits your wifes Fighter. Between Bardic performance and other buffs she should be hitting a majority of the time. With UMD and some Scrolls you can give her plenty of other buffs including Fly. You still need tools of your own. I know a Lesser rod of Extend spell if bought will also make those buffs last so much longer. Pages of spell Knowledge adds more spell options for your wife's fighter. But the typical Bardic performance and Haste are usually enough to win most fights.

For skill utility you can go wrong with just buying a circlet of Persuasion. I build Pageant of the Peacock so I get tons of use out of the item. Nothing like making Knowledge skills with a bluff check that is ridiculously high.
