Yes. It is in abundance in the south if you have Forester 7.

Interesting. I must be in the wrong hexes, I only get Yew when I'm in the South. I have Forester 7.

I get more Maple than Yew when harvesting in the hexes around Phaeros. Its kind of annoying, actually.

Found maple and oak both last night two hexes north of Rathglen in that forest area. I have like a forester of 3 or 4.
