Eidolons Str / Dex Bonus

Rules Questions

In all other parts of the eidolon, AC Evolution points etc etc, it says either "This is the base total" or "Total number." However, with Str/Dex Bonus it just says:

"Add this modifier to the eidolon’s Strength and Dexterity scores, as determined by its base form. Some options available through the eidolon’s evolution pool might modify these scores."

So my question is how is it added? If you have a Quadruped the base Str and DEX are 14. If I make a level 5 Quadruped are its stats 16 each, adding the plus 2 for 5th level, or 19?(+1 for level 2, +1 for level 3, +1 for level 4, +2 for level 5)

Nothing says that that number is the base plus and nothing I have found says it does not stack.

16 each, same as how the animal companion table works.

Sczarni

Same as how any table works.

A Fighter doesn't have +5 to Fort saves at level 2.

There are exceptions to the 'tables aren't cumulative' rule, but they are called out explicitly:

Table: Size Changes - you repeat the adjustment every size category a creature moves (this is for monster advancement, not enlarge/similar spells, mind you)

Table: Aging Effects Both bonus and penalty are cumulative.

By induction, it is reasonable to assume that no stats presented in a table are cumulative unless stated otherwise.

Thanks
