So my level 16 halfling Wizard just got Polymorph Any Object and I'm interested in the spell's potential for "self improvement." As you can get some super high (or infinite until dismissed) durations, it seemed like a really cost effective way to get some neat tricks on the side with just the use of one 8th level spell slot.
So what shapes stand out as being awesome enough that you would want to keep it for the long haul? Ideally I'm looking for things with at least a 5 duration factor that still has the basic limbs/voice necessary for casting. Anyone have any ideas?
