FR Festivals!!

3.5/d20/OGL

Hi folks,

New member here but long time D&Der. I've pretty much scrubbed my accessories for info for what I am about to ask so I am thinking this is gonna be a 'industry reply', but if anyone has anything constructive to add...by all means please do with reference material it was gleaned from mmmkay?

Ok, what I am trying to find is more detailed info on FR festivals. I see the info in the newer FRHB (Forgotten Realms HandBook) on page 77, but those are a little vague giving only slightly what those festivals are about. What I need, if anyone can find it, is the following for each festival in the Silver Marches area of Faerun, specifically around the Rivermoot/HighHold areas:

- What sort of foods
- what sort of garb/wear is appropriate
- what sort of activities would they do?
- Would there be anything 'special' showing up on a normal basis; i.e. Satyrs, Fey folk, etc
- Would there be anything 'special' for regional aspects that go on around those areas?
- Any games they would have there like...oh..dunking for apples kinda stuff or whatever.
- Anything else I've not asked for but would fit in the question here.

Ok, I know this is all rather bland as far as topics go, but looking to add a bit of 'being there' feel to whats going on. In preference, if y'all could focus on Highharvetide first, I'd much appreciate ya :)

Cheers to all,
MordenGeist

P.S. oh hey...any normal ranger moot with a name (besides Shieldmeet) would be cool if you know of any as well. I remember seeing it someplace but I dont remember where....

There are a lot of people knowlageable about the Realms there, as well as several regular visitors that are past and present Realms authors and game designers.
