Though it never explicitly says that a barbarian cannot cast a spell while raging (provided she has muliclassed to a caster class), it does say that she cannot take any action that requires concentration, which spellcasting does.
The Urban Barbarian Arcetype, however, have the "controlled rage" ability that voids most of the drawbacks of rage.

Does this include spellcasting? Can a caster/urban barbarian cast spells while raging? It's never stated that is does, but then again, it was never explicitly stated that the normal barbarian could not. It is like the writers did not ponder the possibility.

No. The controlled rage feature adds specific things that an urban barbarian can do while raging, but casting spells is not one of them.
When using a controlled rage, an urban barbarian gains no bonus on Will saves, takes no penalties to AC, and can still use Intelligence-, Dexterity-, and Charisma-based skills. This ability otherwise follows the normal rules for rage.[/qoute]
