Best spells for the "Allied Spellcaster" feat?

My girlfriend and I are playing a sorcerer/arcanist pair in PFS right now, and we're using the Allied Spellcaster feat. We started out with "snowball" as our go-to spell, but next level we'll be able to cast 3rd level spells. Any recommendations on what to take? Obviously anything with increasing damage dice is good, and magic missile is nice because at even levels when standing next to each other we're able to get that extra missile.

It sounds like you are both going for blasting? If so, the stereotypical answer is "fireball all day long". If so, you two should definitely pick up spell specialization on it asap, and probably an elemental metamagic rod in case you run up against a fire resistant enemy. If you aren't blasting, what is the goal of your duo? You don't even both have to be casting the same spells each round, only have the same known spells. So one of you could be casting haste on the party, while the other casts stinking cloud on the enemy... All kinds of fun stuff you could do with +1 caster level at all times!
