With apologies to those for whom it is crappy timing, Ozem's vigil will host an Adventure Time this weekend, in the monster home on the mountain peak between Callambea and Freevale.

I can't enought thank you for providing this time service, that 12h system causes some kind of congestion in my brain when trying to translate to my local time.
I'll see if I can get up at that hour and will be on a really crappy connection on a really crappy computer so I'll mostly hang around watching ...

Sorry I'm out of town celebrating my wife's birthday and won't be back online until Sunday. I wish I could make it to tonight's adventures closer to home after having such a great time last night in Brighthaven.
For the Tier 2 wands you'll need at least rank 4 in charged wand compatible cantrips to take advantage of the benefits. I recommend testing with eel's touch, windrider and sonic thrust for a non provoking melee gish style.

We wanted to suggest that you might want to run this test at Rotter's Hole.
We suspect there's some issues related to the Thornguard. Rotter's Hole is unique in that it has no Thornguard. I'd love to know if a big gathering at Rotter's Hole would have the same problems that the gathering at Brighthaven had last night.

We were actually looking at an escalation clearing. And Rotter's hole is a lovely place, but a bit out of the way for most of us.
If you're just looking to get a lot of people in a hex and see what happens, maybe we could do that as part of the "Get killed as often as you can and see how many shrines you can discover along the way" event Sunday. I plan to see if there's any possibility of a gearless individual using shrine-travel to speed carrying people across the map.

If there are any mages joining tonight, is there any possibility of acquiring a staff +1 or +2, and an upgrade spellbook if that too is available?
You need to be a bit more specific about the staff you want.
Whereas all spells work equally with the generic charged staff that is not the case with higher "plus" staffs.
For example Wilting Surge rank 3 will only get its full power on a +2 diminishing staff and will only work as rank 1 on any other staff (psychic/charged/etc) regardless of the "plus" of the staff.

Naked travel is more than a possibility it works, but if you are not on a known route there is a random element that can throw you well out of your way. If its a regular route you know well it's possible to have a lot better idea where you are likely to jump to when killed. However even then you cannot necessarily control NPCs camping your next spawn point.
In the end with unlimited sprint the best fast travel if there are mountains nearby is simply climb half way up the cliffs and then run whilst high on the cliff face.

Per Ryan's request that we attempt to get a bunch of people together to check a town with no Thornguards, I'm suggesting we begin a slow migration of as many people as are interested into Rotter's Hole. It need not be your primary character, and need not have any armour or weapons. The point is to get a bunch of people together in one spot to see what happens.
With that in mind, instead of encouraging people to go East to the mountains between Callambea and Freevale, we'll spend some time in the escalation at the monster home near the centre of a triangle made by Stoneroot Glade, Guardheim, and Rathglen.
Hopefully, instead of trying to get a bunch of people into place at one time, over the course of this weekend we can slowly fill the vicinity of Rotter's Hole, so that by Sunday we can have a large number of people there to test. Ideally, a large number of people who aren't worried about having a low reputation by the end of the night. ;-)
Indicate over here if you plan to help test Rotter's Hole this weekend.

I am using Electric Brand as my main spell, and Hellflume as my secondary one.

Some of us are starting to run to the hex NW of Rathglen, now, in hopes of being there in about 20 Minutes.
Logged in to my Rotters ALT but the settlements seems empty.
One oddity I noticed is the Settlement Map for Rotters shows an Auction House but the settlment itself does not actually have one.

We were in various hexes on the west edge for a while, mostly fighting escalations, but we ran out of oomph a while ago. We'll be back on Saturday at some points, and Sunday for sure.

(TLDR: 4%)
We moved around. Our first choice was riddled with certain death (I was told, by others) (molloc-something-soemthing?) so we shifted to a goblin escalation, but when Lisa found us she told us it was only residual, and we'd be wasting our time, so we ran half a dozen hexes (stopping frequently as some of us couldn't resist playing with shiny things along the way (in the form of fey escalations)).
When we finally ended up in a Paladin escalation, we managed to drop it about 4% in less than an hour, then it all fell apart as people gave up for the night.
