So a theorycraft would be a wild child brawler who goes into mammoth rider using pummeling style. I realize i couldn't use a lance, but the double damage on a charge with an unarmed strike (using pummeling charge) from the back of a mammoth just seems really cool. Any tips to get this working, feats? mounts? anything really?

Mammoth riders can't use allosauruses, I believe, unless your DM lets you. If not, I'd go with big cat.
One of the nicest tricks I've found is going barbarian for a couple of levels at least to get Ferocious Mount and then Amplified Rage. On a horsemaster's saddle, that's +8 Str and Con for yourself and your mount. And one more teamwork feat qualifies you for Coordinated Charge later on.

Um...I'd start it at 11th, take 10 levels of mounted fury barbarian, grab boon companion, and have a mount that has shared rage, shared claws, shared natural armor bonus, and most importantly, shared pounce. With the mammoth rider mount's reach, you can wield a lance and go all RAGELANCEPOUNCE happy on your enemies.
Barring that, I'd go Order of the Sword cavalier to get the 8th level ability to use your mount's strength on your charges.
Again, though, that's not what you asked. You asked about using a Wild Child Brawler. To me, that seems like a guy who uses his mount as a flanking partner, and runs around kickin' butt with him, not ON him.
