Stoneplate vs. Stone Armor

OK, I have a player in a Pathfinder Society group that wants to make stone full plate. There are rules for stone as a special material in Ultimate Combat. They seem a bit unbalanced for magic armor -- a fraction of the weight and cost and removes the "fragile" condition if magical.

There are also rules in the Inner Sea World Guide for "stoneplate" which is far less forgiving.

I've searched the forums and can't find a ruling -- are either (or both) of these items legal for Pathfinder Society play?

As with all legality questions, the answer is in Additional resources.

All material from this book is legal for play except as noted below. Some rules elements are legal but function differently in Pathfinder Society Organized Play, as described.

Stone materials from ultimate combat are legal. However, you cannot make stone armor using stone as a material per the entry on primitive materials, "Armor: Armor cannot usually be constructed from stone, but advanced, often alchemically enhanced stone armor made by dwarves or other stone-working cultures does exist."

Equipment: all weapons, armor, and adventuring gear on pages 290-293 with the following restrictions: No character may purchase a firearm unless she possesses the Gunsmithing feat and firearms are never considered Always Available. The Harrow deck may be used if it is an actual Harrow deck. Any alternative means to simulate the Harrow deck usage, such as a normal deck of cards or dice, is not legal;

The stoneplate form the ISWG is legal, and is the only way to make stone armor.

Stoneplate is legal (my Oread wears it).

It weighs more than Fullplate, and reduces your speed by half, and costs more than Fullplate (1800gp, +150gp for Masterwork), but it still gives you the same +9 Armor Bonus and +1 max Dex that Fullplate does.

If he still wants to, tell him to go for it =).

I just wish I could get PC-Gen to let me buy it for my Stonelord.

6.04.00... it has stoneplate, but it seems to be just a placeholder without no cost or properties. I ended up renaming Full Plate, and adding the extra weight and cost.

Lol, so I don't have the latest :)
Odd then that it is missing. I have the full working stoneplate. Though your solution works as well I suppose.
