In my 5-8-14 additional resources the Spinosaurus was legal, but in a later it was not. I thought to look as what other ones might have gone away. I downloaded a new additional resources and compared.
For those of you who changed to an allosaurus from spinonsaurus, it is not on the list for legal animal companions (maybe for awhile - I looked on aug 2014 and it wasn't there either)

Indeed. As mentioned in a few other threads now, there was a stealth update to the Additional Resources at some time (or multiple times) in the last year that removed quite a few Animal Companion choices from the allowed list. These changes were not notated in red on the actual webpage.
If you're reading this, and you have a PC with an Animal Companion, it would behoove you to download the most recent document and update accordingly.

Where exactly do you download the additional resources? I just always check with the web page. Attempts to find a download got me something from the Joshua frost Epoch.
From the web page you check... :)
Right at the bottom of the first paragraph on the Additional Resources page. Right under the line that reads: "Red indicates the most recently updated content".
"Click to download a PDF copy of the list of Additional Resources."
