Can you use a true name gained through research the same way as a true name gained through an Arcane Discovery?

Rules Questions

I find it unlikely you could use this for the planar binding ability, for balance reasons, but when you summon or otherwise encounter the demon, can you still use the "mispronounciation" thing? Where you misspeak their name (as a move action) and they become sickened and staggered for one round?

Basically its a GM fiat thing at that point.

I think it is fairly obvious that the 'True Name' arcane discovery is quite different from the true name gained by research as described in binding outsiders.

Presumably, outsiders must have a 'partial true name' that gives a bonus in conjuring and a more complete true name that an Arcanist can figure out and gives one a great deal more power over.

I don't think it would be unbalanced though to be able to research how to properly mis-pronounce a true name to get the sickened and staggered effect with a similar amount of research as gaining a true name for conjuration purposes.
