available here, this archtype specifically makes the Alchemy ability of an Alchemist an Extraordinary ability at tenth level, and the Craft Device makes items that "function normally in Antimagic Fields or areas of Wild Magic."
My question is, does this also make them non-dispellable items? Since they aren't magic powered, but Science powered, are they targetable by Dispel Magic, or can an effect from these items be supressed by other means? Or is it like the "Magic and Psionics" debate?
Also on another train of thought, other than the gun-toting alchemist build, is there anything else in there that I may have overlooked that looks like awesome-sauce to anyone? And what would be your first pick of Deed?
The character concept I have is for a Mythic campaign for a gnome whom has traveled around a bit, and ended up studying in Alkenstar to gain his class level. Bredth of Experience seems like an awesome first-level feat for a wandering merchant/craftsman/tinker. Eventually I plan on Explosive Missile for the rocket launcher idea for combat, and being the crafty support for the party.

Thank you for your interest, Snively!
Craft Devices, and the science class ability for scientific innovators, turn traditionally magical (ie: supernatural) effects into extraordinary effects.
Would dispel magic work on an extraordinary effect? Certainly not—the liquid-fueled, flint-lit fireball cares not for your spell!
However, an extraordinary dispel magic could certainly effect another extraordinary "spell". Furthermore, devices "duplicate" the effects of a spell, and thus could also be used against a regular spell.
The real thing here? Spells have two major identifiers: magic and spell (because there are plenty of magical things that aren't spells; there are schools, and auras, and so on, but that's not our concern here).
The scientific innovator removes one of these identifiers, and if the other is present in the conflicting effect, it counts. I'm making a note about it in the (soon to be updated!) playtest right now and thank you again for asking about it!
Did you see the dragonii? Only some of their stats are on the Veranthea Codex tumblr but they are wicked cool. ;) Either way I think a scientific innovator would be a fantastic candidate for a mythic PC! Please keep us apprised of his fate!
