Prestignation + Silent Image

Advice

Give me some examples of what you could do with these two spells?

I got another question regarding Silent Image that I saw on another thread, but couldn't really make out the logic...Let's say you were to cast Silent Image within the visual range given and you create a bucket over the enemy's head, would they be blind? If so, had they succeeded in a Will save and realized it is an illusion, does that mean that the illusion fades away? Or only that they've realized it is an illusion but they still can't see through it?

"A successful saving throw against an illusion reveals it to be false, but a figment or phantasm remains as a translucent outline."

Silent Image is a figment, so if they succeeded on their will save, they could see through it, but it would still be a "translucent outline."

So, together, or just by themselves?

Hmmm.....create a scene that fakes the time and circumstances of a murder.

Prestidigitation can heat up 1 lb of non living matter. How much of a hand is that? Making it warm makes it look 'fresh'.

Now then, bring silent image in, I would find a nice, hard to reach place. The point of that is so that most people could not actually to the spot and find out the illusion is fake. Conspiciously place the warm fingers so that people start looking, and maybe be the one that 'notices' where the body is.

For this, have the illusion be of a big climbing bugger with the a torn up torso in its mouth. Have it conveniently disappear into a dark space before anyone starts to grab their bow.

Part of the fun of all this is that a successful save hardly matters. Cause enough chaos, and no one will know what is really happening. And if someone sees it as transparent? So what. If you make all the later evidence support your script (if the party has a ranger or something, this can be easy, since the body will be chewed up), then the fact that it was all an illusion would only be a rumor and hysteria due to the 'horror'.
