Only joining a settlement?

I have a question, what happens if I wish to be linked to a settlement, but do not want to join a company/guild?

This will eventually be supported, but it doesn't appear that it will be the case when Early Enrollment starts.

For what it's worth, you can form your own 1-person Company and pledge that to the Settlement you want to join.

That is not currently an option.

Although, a settlement requires a company to run it, so you can join that company.

For instance Phaeros has a company "Phaeros" that runs Phaeros.

I was thinking about that, as members of the guild I did the kickstarter with seem to all be waiting for EE.
Now how *did* we form a company again?

Pretty sure this requires the settlement leader to be active and accepting company pledges.

So if you are trying to join one of the many settlements that is "Waiting for Godot EE" you may be out of luck.
