Lyric Spell
( Complete Adventurer, p. 113)
[Bardic]
You can channel the power of your bardic music into your magic, allowing you to expend uses of your bardic music ability to cast spells.
Prerequisite
Perform 9 ranks, ability to spontaneously cast 2nd-level arcane spells, Bardic music,
Benefit
You can expend daily uses of your bardic music to cast any arcane spell that you know and can cast spontaneously. You must still use an action to cast the spell (following the normal rules for casting time), but using the Lyric Spell feat counts as part of the spellcasting action. Casting a spell requires one use of your bardic music ability, plus one additional use per level of the spell. For example, casting a 3rd-level spell requires four daily uses of your bardic music ability.
Special
Any spell that you cast using the Lyric Spell feat gains your instrument as an additional arcane focus, if you use one. You cannot use Lyric Spell to cast a spell improved by the Silent Spell metamagic feat
I thought this was a great feat in 3.5, but perhaps TOO great--like nearly broken (if not completely!).
So, here is what I want to do with it in Pathfinder:
Lyrical Finale
You can channel the power of your bardic music into your magic, allowing you to expend uses of your bardic music ability to cast any of the 'finale' spells you know.
Prerequisite
Perform 10 ranks, ability to spontaneously cast 2nd-level arcane spells, Bardic performance
Benefit: You can expend bardic performance rounds to cast bard spells of the finale type (those that require a performance to end to enable casting) with the spell's normal casting time. Casting cost is one round plus one per level of finale spell. Example: Saving Finale would cost 2 performance rounds as it is a 1st level spell.
Might need some tweaking, but I think that is the essence of what I am trying to achieve. Personally, I think it makes some of the Finale spells a bit more useful when using Performance rather than a Spell slot (Deadly Finale, for one!).

I know I'm WAY late to the party...
but this was a HORRIBLE feat in 3.5. You were trading awesome bardic music [like Inspire Courage, Inspire Greatness, or maybe even Dragonfire Inspiration] for spell slots at a rate of 1+spell level uses per spell when you only got 1 bardic music per class level.
It's actually pretty viable in PF. You're giving up one awesome [albeit excessively limited] ability for another.
