Rejected Order

Customer Service

Since the sale started this month, I have been trying to purchase a number of things, but my Debit Card keeps getting rejected. At first it was because I did not have "sufficient funds" in my Bank Account, but I corrected that by depositing more money into my Bank Account, and it has still been getting rejected, a few times now.

My order gets rejected, but the money will still go through to my Bank Account, where it ends up Pending for about a week, and then is removed from my Bank Account. I cannot seem to place my order, no matter what I do. I went to my Bank today to see if there was something wrong with my Debit Card, but they told me it was fine, and to contact your company.

Why is my Debit Card not accepted? Is there another way for me to make this purchase, because as far as I can tell, you don't accept other payment methods like Paypal, although I would prefer just to use my Debit Card and be done with it, so please explain why you have not accepted it ALL month long?

Please respond to this quickly, because I really want to place this order in my Shopping Cart, and since the October sale ends this Friday or so, I need this resolved as swiftly as possible so that I can have my order go through.

Hello Augoeides,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I've looked into your order and it seems that the payment is getting caught up on the billing address attached to your card.

Since fixing it will likely involve divulging your personal address, I'm going to send you an email with more details. We should be able to get the order fixed once we get your address straightened out.

Please let me know if there are any further questions or concerns that you may have in the meantime.

Thanks!

So, I checked a bunch of things, checked my even went out to an ATM to confirm my Debit Card works, and it did. Eventually I hunted down an old bank statement and it turns out that it had a slightly different address. I asked a friend and they said that the second set of numbers is my Post Office Box (I had never seen the mailing code done that way before).

Anyway, I kept trying to enter that into the Address Selection, but it kept changing it to "USPS Standards". Long story short, it turns out that I needed to put my Post Office Box as my "MAIN" mailing address and my home address as a secondary (I was trying to get it delivered to my home, but walking a few minutes down my street is a small price to pay).

Thanks for your help, as far as I know, the payment went through fine. I am still waiting on the confirmation email, but everything seems to be working just fine.

Thanks for the quick and thorough reply, if you hadn't I NEVER would have guessed it was my address that was wrong. I have been having trouble with this card ever since they issued it to me (with other sites as well), so now that I know the problem, I can finally shop online again. So you actually solved two problems at once for me, thanks again!

I'll let you know if something else goes wrong. Take care until then.

I've just taken a look into your pending order, and it seems that whatever changes you made have pleased the system! Looks like your authorization was approved, so your order should be able to process just fine.

Please let me know if there are any further questions or concerns that I could help with. Thanks!

The order is still pending and I have not received a confirmation for the order by email or otherwise. Is this because the order is still pending? (I know that you guys have a huge list of stock that has to go out because of this month's sale)

However, if my order is still pending past October 31st, will I still receive my order at the price I paid (since it was placed during this sale) and get it all when stock becomes available, or will the pending status mess with everything?

Note that "Pending" on Paizo's system usually means "Order placed, now pending picking+shipment" - the wording tends to catch a few people. (Personally, I feel "Order placed" would be a better term)

As it's been placed, you should get it at the agreed price when the system accepted it (or if not, poke Customer Services if you see an incorrect charge when it ships.)

Thanks.
