Ok this video just made me uncomfortable. And I'm not easily made uncomfortable. I don't see the point of this game. Any point at all.
I have no problem with carnage, R, NC-17 or X rated stuff. I have a problem with pointless, senseless killing.
I mean, when you murder someone in GTA, it's satire of crime. Here, it just feels like murder.
I'm not buying this game.

Here's a nice quick Endgaget article about the game (trailer).
So...apparently, in this game, you play as a mentally disturbed (nay, insane) former elite operator on a killing spree. According to the developer, there is no logic, rationale, or motivation of any kind prompting the events in the game; it is purely, simply, mass-murder insanity.
Just my opinion, but what sane, emotionally-stable person would even remotely enjoy this?

The kind that play GTA to beat hookers and shoot innocents

Nobody. This game should be a great lacmus in determining sociopaths and psychopaths.
If a person plays this game and enjoys it, they are seriously disturbed.

TBH it's just a lot of games in an edgier wrapper. You can have fun with it just like you can have fun with GTA, or Postal, or any open world game really.
One of my favorite pastimes in Saint's Row is running around naked and body slamming random civilians.
(Actual screenshot from my profile.)
This looks just as gratuitous as that, if less insane.

Well, I haven't bothered looking into it as I'm on holiday, but as I understand it the group making the game have connections to groups that are pretty far right with fascist leanings. To the shock of no one after watching the trailer. So it's pretty much a little hate project, if that's true.
On the other hand...it looks pretty awful before that. Generic, growly 90's anti-hero steretype? Sure. Let's go with that. Slightly naff graphics with graphical issues? Check. Dull looking game play with deliberately having no plot? OK, sure, let's go with that.
So yeah. I wouldn't have bought it even with the dumb. Now I'm really, really not gonna buy it? I'll actively buy it even less? Make fun of friends who do buy it? I dunno. I can't really see this making even it's obviously low budget back, but I guess it's really meant to be some really naff political statement, so...success?
