buying racial boons

is there a way I can just buy a racial boon and can it be used for pbp?
Or would I have to buy a boon from another player, and how can I be sure it wasn't already used.
what is the boon, is their a code you put on your character to show you have the boon?

If it is possible. I would like to buy one. Looking for Suli, Strix, or Hobgoblin. Although I think Strix isn't a possible boon to get, not sure.

Strix and hobgoblin are not available race boons at this time.

Buying and selling of the racial boons is strongly frowned upon. You can offer to trade such boons (and there is a thread specifically for that), but straight up cash sale is not appropriate.

As Sniggevert mentioned above already. I'm only aware of Suli's being playable by Voltron'ing Sylph, Oread, Ifrit and Undine boons sheets.

They were also options on the Gen Con GM Reward boons for the last two years, IIRC. But yeah, there's no real way to prohibit it but it's strongly discouraged. The closest I've seen done is the trading of books and minis.

If you want a boon but have nothing to offer, trading Paizo products (minis and books, mostly) is reasonably acceptable.

In regards to minis, if for example you are above average at painting, you could offer that as a service for a trade.

Or if you're really good at drawing characters.
There are things you can work with.

I always offer official Paizo product for trade, so I'm still supporting the company. I wouldn't be comfortable just paying someone for one, but I've traded official Paizo books, bought directly from Paizo, for boons.
