Good day to all!
We're playing the Kingmaker AP and suddenly got wiped at level 4 (because of party composition lacking a healer) so i decided to make a new character and got these stats:
17
16
15
15
10
10
Since the party consists of a warpriest, wizard (Conjurer) and gunslinger i've decided to make a battle oracle with a reach weapon so he can smack with attacks of opportunity and use his high charisma for casting spells.
Help me in optimizing these high stats please.
Name: Aaron (Human)
Class: Oracle (battle) level 4
stats
str 18 (+1 at lvl 4)
dex 15
con 15
int 10
wis 10
cha 18 (human +2)
Battle Mystery
Revelations: War sight, Skill at arms, weapon mastery (bardiche)
feats: Combat reflexes, extra revelation, power attack (thinking of taking divine protection at level 5 for increased saves and then going the summoning feats route)
Traits: Fate's Favored (for divine favour) and Dangerously curious (for UMD)
1st level spell slots
Mystery Enlarge Person
Divine Favor
murderous command
Stunning Barrier
Protection from evil
Cure Light Wounds
2nd level
Mystery Fog cloud
Sound Burst
Cure Moderate Wounds

With those stats there is only one way to go. LOA.
Dual Cursed / Lunar Oracle Assimar or Nature
Favored Bonus goes to animal companion.
1. Extra Mystery
2.
3. Cestial Companion (Resistances & DR at 5/10/15)
4.
5. Spirit's Gift (Fast Healing 1)
6.
7. (Beast Shape)
You get full casting, a campanion with a huge HD bonus/DR/RES/Fast Healing, beast shape (eventually BeastshapeIV), and you can still hit stuff with a two hander. Did I mention you get mysteries? Oh, and you can make enemies reroll when they roll to high on an attack, which is possibly the best "healing" in the game.

Whats the reasoning to want to swing a weapon. So many people with a hard on for reach battle priest.
Id invest in full casting. Id go with a evangelist cleric.
Giving a warpriest and gunslinger bardic performance and cleric buffs will just be dominating.
Do stats like:
str: 10, Dex 15, con:17, int 10, wis 18, cha:15
( +1 to con and +2 wisdom. If you go to 16 then +1 cha)
Feats:
1: lingering performance
H: spell focus- enchantment or conjuration
3: greater spell focus- enchantment. Or augmented summoning
5: divine protection
7: persistent spell or sacred summons
9: spell penetration
11: divine interferance
13: discordant voice
15: quicken spell
You can pick summon specialist or enchantment. Kingmaker is a decent enchantment good campaign.
Domain: Heroism for summon specialist and travel, madness, or trickery for enchantment based.
Having to build a party with a pure dedicated healer is bad play. Having someone to patch you up is good but can be accomplished with a wand of cure light wounds outside of battle.
Control the battlefield, buff the party, midigate damage. Healing every scratch is boring and not the optimal way of playing divine casters.

Thank you for taking the time to post, the build you have suggested seems quite viable and competent for a buff and controller type of caster. Yet the main problem is the warpriest (who at the moment is the sole front liner is a glass cannon sort of type, with only 10 or 12 CON and a two hander.
That's why i want to build something that can stand in the front lines and soak up some damage while still be an effective caster. So far i've decided to go 16 STR and 20 CHA (switching the 17 and 16 around and applying the human and lvl 4 bonus to CHA).
What do you guys think?

Do that. He'll hold his own in a fight, but at later levels he's a 9th level caster who starts with 20 Cha. And it's Kingmaker which means you may as well max out Diplomacy on the guy.
And 20 Cha means +5 to all saves for you Oracle in a level or so.
Yes, you could optimise more, but why bother? At this point you have someone made to win the campaign so you can pick the odd unusual revelation or spell.
