Merisiel's Last Class Deck Ability

On the class deck card the last ability states that she can use a d10 strength for ranged attacks. When does this come up?

On Longbow type weapons. They often use your Dexterity or Ranged and your Strength die. See this example from the blog preview about rewording cards after RotR.

So CD Merisiel would get to roll 1d12 + 2 + 1d10 as opposed to expected 1d12 + 2 + 1d6.

Yes this Merisiel the archer so she is good with bows.

Its the Merisiel that has something specal when using daggers that we have not seen yet which is a bit odd as she is normaly covered in them.
