Questions about Seven Days to the Grave

Spoilers Ahead:

In the wreckage of the Direption, the players find some documents pointing to Davaulus. It also references a group called B7. This group, as far as I can tell, is never referenced again in all the books. Who is B7? My players are currently investigating them heavily.

Okay, new question then. What is the connection? Seems the Brothers of the Seven is just a cover for some murder cultists in Magnimar right? So why are they being sent a shipment of boxes containing the blood veil plague?

The Brothers of the Seven provided the Red Mantis with Vorel's Phage from which they derived Blood Veil. If you read Adventure Path #2: The Skinsaw Murders you will learn what Vorel's Phage is.

Unless you want to know right now:

Vorel's Phage is a disease that resulted from a failed attempt at lichdom by a man named Vorel Foxglove. He was one of the founders of the Brothers of the Seven.

There's a lot more to the story, but if you read the Skinsaw Murders all will become clear.

This is why I like Paizo so much. They take a very long view with their storytelling.

The papers in the wreck of the Direption illustrate that B7 supplied Reiner Davaulus of the Red Mantis "specimens" of Vorel's Phage, and in addition they also passed ownership of the boat to him.

This connects the Queen's Physicians with the cult of Urgathoa, Reiner Davaulus with the Brothers of the Seven, the Queen with Davaulus, everybody's dying, cats and dogs are living together...EBOLA!

In the end this B7 thing just connects the two adventure paths but it is still fun to delve into it with your players.

I still don't know how the vampires figure into all of this; I assume they are just another cross pollination of Adventure Paths.
