Harrow Warden (Monk Archetype) Any good?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Title pretty much describes itself. I'm curious as to peoples evaluations of the archetype.
Here is a link to the class for anyone unfamiliar: Harrow Warden
Thanks for any imput one deems worthy!

It's pretty neat. I adore Eclipse Strike, it's just a shame it comes at a level many games will never get to.

Just some comments from myself.
Idiot strike does not have the language 1/round like stunning fist, so you could nova your uses of it in a full attack and blow all of your resources similar to an alchemist. This has it's uses and drawbacks.

The ability targeting will is better than for for stunning fist right?

Mute hag stance is kinda usefull against barbarians and bards, I guess but it wound remove the damage, only the bonus to hit.

Big sky stance is just plain better than diamond body.

Eclipse strike should have uses per day, and is definitely better than quivering palm.

I have dreams of making a BBEG Monk with this archetype that uses idiot strike and feral combat training with a bite that has a poison effect as a rider ability, or something similar if anyone has a better suggestion. Just saying, that would be an annoying fight for PC's to endure without being too lethal. :)

Do wish they could flurry with the rapier though....
I do find their proficiencies odd.

I love it, though I haven't used it yet.

Stunning Fist is good against humanoids that wield weapons/have low fort saves, like casters. That's a minority of monsters. Most of them have excellent fort saves, use natural weapons, and many are straight up immune to stuns.

Nothing is immune to Idiot Strike, and most creatures that fight in melee have weak will saves. It also helps to set up your casters for their big SoBS spells.

It's definitely an interesting archetype and would probably be pretty fun to play. Also, not to nitpick, but Eclipse strike does have a limited number of uses per day, or, rather, it doesn't really need to because it only affects creatures damaged by Idiot Strike and Idiot Strike has a limited number of uses per day. Still a sweet ability, though.

You punch people so hard that they turn into rabbits.

Yes. It is totally worth it.
