I'm making a character on myth-weavers, first serious attempt to actually play a full game of pathfinder online. The gm is allowing us 3 traits if we take a drawback and so I started looking into that.
I have a character idea of a thief who has never considered a purpose or goal to life, but is now given the opportunity to do so now. The game is set in a school for adventurers, and I wanted to play it out as the character decides whether they want to continue being a petty thief. However, old habits are hard to break.
So the drawback I'm interested in is Envy, which gives daily penalties if my character doesn't steal a value of 10gp. Question is, if my character develops how do I deal with the drawback? Is there a way to loose that or am I stuck with it forever? If so I'll probably take avarice instead just because it'll be easier to NOT get expelled, but I would really like to play the thief trying to curb the instinct to relieve people of their coin purses.
