Stat changes from large to huge

Rules Questions

In the campaign I am currently playing in, my medium sized character just had enlarge person used with a permanence spell to make him a large character. From what I understand, now that permanence has been used, enlarge person can be used on me and take me from large to huge.

So I understand how enlarge person works changing a medium character to a large character, but what are the stat changes that come into play when changing a large character to a huge one?

This is all I could find in my search:

  • -2 size
  • +2 special size
  • -4 fly
  • -8 stealth

Aside from that, are there any other stat changes?

Thanks in advance!

No they won't stack. Permanency only makes the duration permanent, so you'd only apply the spell effects and that's all.

If you could stack them you would still only apply what the spell says applys nothing more.

Multiple magical effects that increase size do not stack.

You are already under the effect of something that increase your size, so you can't benefit from another spell or effect that increase your size.

You can only be affected by one polymorph spell at a time. If a new polymorph spell is cast on you (or you activate a polymorph effect, such as wild shape), you can decide whether or not to allow it to affect you, taking the place of the old spell. In addition, other spells that change your size have no effect on you while you are under the effects of a polymorph spell.

Even worse, if you receive a Polymorph spell Enlarge person would cease to work until the Polymorph effect end.

PRD - Permanency wrote:

In addition to personal use, permanency can be used to make the following spells permanent on yourself, another creature, or an object (as appropriate).

Enlarge person
Spells cast on other targets are vulnerable to dispel magic as normal.

It is a bit unclear, but if we follow text placement, only the shot list of spell that you can make permanent only on yourself is subject to "This application of permanency can be dispelled only by a caster of higher level than you were when you cast the spell.". So apparently Enlarge person can be cancelled by any use of dispel magic.

Gotcha...that makes total sense. What would the stat changes be in general from large to huge?

The on on table 2-2, size change I think, it it is a "natural" size growth.
If you use a spell you should follow the spell instruction. Spells are generally less beneficial than that table.

After re-reading the spell, it does explain it clearly. Thanks for all the feedback!
