In "Tempest Rising", weather modifiers are included for distances from the Eye of Abendego. I tried to measure distance from the edge of the Eye to determine some of the modifiers around the main cities of the Shackles.
According to the map on page 49, Cauldron Rock looks about 30 miles from the Eye. With that assumption, I added 30 miles the approximate distance from Cauldron Rock on the front inside cover of the book to each of the following cities to get the local weather modifier.
Drenchport: Approx. 80 m.; Weather mod. +36
Hell Harbor: Approx. 150 m.; Weather mod. +12
Port Peril: Approx. 250 m.; Weather mod. +8
Slipcove: Approx. 275 m.; Weather mod. +4
Quent: Approx. 295 m.; Weather mod. +4
Ollo: Approx. 320 m.; Weather mod. +0
Does this look more or less correct?

Bumping (even though I doubt Shaun is around anymore) because I'm curious as well and don't want to needlessly create a new thread.
Also, after the Man's Promise is captured, what should I use to generate weather for the AP? I know there needs to be a storm around the 4th day, but besides that I'm unsure what to do for weather generally.

As there was going to be a storm I decided to foresee it from the first day by make the weather go increasignly worse. As my players wanted to mutiny after getting to the Man's Promise I also used the weather conditions for discouraging them to do it so soon (I thought it was more interesting after the island).
It also increased the discomfort with Plugg, as he took decissions (as sailing next to a reef knowing a storm was near) that put the crew on danger and pictured him as an incompetent leader.

The weather for Book 1 is pretty much preset. I wouldn't roll random weather until the beginning of Raiders of the Fever Sea. You can find the S&S Random Weather rules on page 72 of Tempest Rising.
