Totem Spear - PFS Legal?

I believe a Totem Spear is an allowed weapon from page 14, Varisia, Birthplace of legends.

However some folks have said its not but I think that might be because they arent reading the Additional Resources which states: Equipment: All equipment on pages 14-15 are legal for play except Varisian idol.

Instead relying on Herolab which lists it as not allowed for PFS.

JUst wanted to check I have it correct so I can let the players know and submit a bug to Herolab

I agree with your reading of the Additional Resources and product. The spear is clearly listed in the table of equipment and its description is within the pages outlined on the AR page.

If Herolab has it not legal for PFS, it is in error.

Don't distrust it. Trust, but verify. There is an immense stack of rules for them to keep programmed in. There will always be a few errors. If you ever have a question, confirm in the rules and AR. Then submit a bug report so they can fix it. :)

That doesn't say anything against the product, Fin. That's on any elements in the local play environment that teach players to expect Hero Lab to count as a legitimate source.

But kudos to you for pushing against the tide.
