Recently I escaped from a (PvP) combat with my Level 10 Druid PC using a Standard Action to shift into Earth Elemental Form and then a Move Action to Earth Glide straight down. I assume this is legal as my GM allowed it.
This got me thinking, what other methods exist for PC (or NPCs) to escape combat in a single round?
Obviously the Arcane spells such as Dimension Door and Teleport serve this purpose and Clerics have Word of Recall but I'm curious if other people have unusual stories of getting away.

Spells method are the easiest of course.
But well couple of ways to get out of situation:
-Strength based characters breaking through walls in a corridor.
-Acrobatic/mobile characters can actually use various skills to get away.
-Some races can fly, so usually airborne escape are a boon to them.
-Many magic items offer ways to escape.
-Hide in plain sight can be an annoying way to escape, if the enemy isn't aware of your ability.
-Monks just run very fast or jump very high...good for them.
Mythic has a couple of ways to escape rather easily between the swift actions doing move actions and various mythic powers (Mirror dodge).
