I am playing a Dragon Disciple, with levels in Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer. I am a me lee /tank build, As such I wear armor,
A 9th level DD gets the Sorcerer 15th level bloodline power Wings.
The Wings power states you grow leathery dragon wings from your back as a standard action, good maneuverability, 60 ft fly speed, and can dismiss the wings as a free action.
My rules question, can I grow the wings through my breast plate?
You should be able to, as many creatures in fantasy are armored with wings.
But from a realistic perspective the GM would probably require you to get your breastplate re-outfitted to adhere to your new limbs, since most standard equipment aren't meant to fit winged creatures.
The wings are a supernatural effect, meaning magic. I'd argue the wings' attachment are therefore magic as well, and do not need the armor to be refitted. If the wings were an extraordinary effect (could be used in anti-magic fields), then I'd want that armor refitted.
Either way, it's more a flavor/taste thing or one's prerogative on how it's dealt with.
