My cousin is being our GM. But as of now we are trying to get this class thing figured out, right now we've got
Human Fighter (me)
Half-Elf Rogue (Gavin)
Gnome Sorcerer (Ethan)
Elf Ranger (Nicholas)
I really love fighter, and really don't want to change. However i will if you convince me to be something that causes more damage than a Two-Handed fighter with a Greatsword.

A raging Barbarian. Plus more hit points and Rage Powers to help with a low Will Save.
That said, Fighter is a perfectly good choice. I'm going to be starting this myself soon, and one of my players has already decided he wants to be a Fighter. Just take steps to boost your Will Save a bit, as a Dominated Two-Handed Fighter with a Greatsword can probably slaughter the rest of the party.

I agree, Two-Handed fighter brings a lot of hurt. I would also say Barbarian, especially Invulnerable rager with the beast totem and animal fury. At level 10 you get pounce, so you can full attack on a charge, it's pretty awesome.
Given that you do not have a healer though, assuming you don't want to chance to a class with healing, fighter AC is a better option.

In combat healing will be low (especially at higher levels) but make sure you are stocked on wands of Cure Light Wounds for the Ranger and UMD Sorcerer to use out of combat. A cleric cohort at some point would be a big help as well.
