Umbrea's page

MIAOW!

Umbrea goes up to Serik, and tries to "mime" the appearance of the creature she saw. She struggles to stand on her 2 back paws, flattens her ears & shows her teeth.

I'm using bluff-pass secret messages (assuming it works) to "mime" what I saw. I have the same modifier on perform (mime) so it can besubstituted for that if appropriate.

bluff: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (13) - 2 = 11

Umbrea traipses around the deck, climbs onto a crate and happens to look over the side, towards the ships.

climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

I'm assuming this is enough to get to a spot where umbrea could watch the water (I'm thinking DC=10 is enough for a crate, or lower rigging?). Note: if this does not work, ignore what follows, I'm going off the skill DC tables.

perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Umbrea wonders if those ships are bringing fishies. She does however feel like something is wrong...

I'm assuming DC=5+CR (common monster) for the identification check, which should allow an untrained check...

knowledge (local): 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (12) - 2 = 10

Umbrea sends an emotion of distress to her master, and starts meowing loudly.

With Selena studying the papers, Umbrea hunts rats & mice in the cargo hold.

survival: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Well, umbrea clearly could not survive in the wild

Umbrea perks up at the word "treat" and starts licking her lips.

Umbrea follows Lissa, looking at her with big kitty eyes and purring as if expecting something.

Umbrea walks up to Lissa and turns on the charm, rubbing up against her legs and purring:

"Prrrrrrrr"

Hirelings would probably be cool. I for one do not know shoanti, so... But I would say it would probably be a diplomacy (search for info maybe?) to find them. Probably gonna need to roll high with the short notice to get anyone decent.

Umbrea finishes gnawing the rat, and starts batting around what's left with her paws.

Umbrea takes the rat in her mouth, gives an appreciative nod of her head at you, then returns to lay Selena's feat. There she starts gnawing at the rat.

"MAOOO" Umbrea looks up at Milva and meoows loudly trying to get her attention.

KITTY WANT THEIR RAT

Umbrea runs up to Milva's legs and start turning on the charm, rubbing herself against her legs and purring.

"Maaa" Umbrea looks at the new arrival for a second, rolls her eyes, and returns it's undivided attention to trying to reach the rat.

"Miaaa" Umbrea seems to strain her paws toward the rat. Umbrea is a cat with a dark gray coat that is very smooth, with two pointy, almost lynx-like ears.

"Prrrrrrrrrrrrr"
