Whip

Rules Questions

Can you whip through a friendly? So whip wielder attacks an enemy 10' away but between the attacker and the one being attacked is a friendly of approx same height as attacker.

Whips are counted as ranged weapons for this sort of thing, so the intervening friendly will provide your target with soft cover. Just as they do for other reach weapons.

Thank you.

No problem. I have a bard/swashbuckler who uses a whip as a trip/battlefield control device. And I took Slashing Grace (whip). They're great weapons.
