Loki is a character who can dance over the line between heroes and villains. For players who want to bring that guile and skill to their Pathfinder table, here's a suggested build for the adopted son of Asgard.

What do you think of using the Arcanist instead of sorcerer? magic Exploits seem like something Loki would do.

You could take Bloodline Developement for the Bloodline powers when you want them or the Blood Arcanist archtype if you want them on all the time.

And you can take School Understanding (Illusion) for a quick boost to your preferred magics.

I'm assuming the suggestion comes from the ACG?

The primary reason I didn't consider it was that my Avengers builds were all written toward the beginning of 2013 and published on Yahoo Voices. That said, there are ALWAYS multiple methods to make a character depending on your vision and what you feel is closest to the source material.
