A Build For The Mighty Thor

As I find new homes for my Avengers character build series I'm going through and correcting previous errors, as well as adding more multimedia content. The latest one to find his new home is the Mighty Thor, so if you want to bring the thunder here's a great way to do it.

post script: Yes the War Priest can be used for Thor. As it says in the article itself there are always multiple ways to build a character. That said, this build was written before the ACG was released.

As you noted, the Low feats really hurt the cleric, because there are a number of them that are necessary, or at least really thematic, for a good Thor Build. In fact, I would suggest a "true" build for some of them (Thor especially) would be a gestalt character.

Some other feats/options to consider:

Stormborn Bloodline -- As a Gestalt, Arcane Heritage(warning: this eats up at least three feats for what I would consider a proper use) feat chain, or even a one-level dip, all of this Bloodline's powers are perfect for emulating a young God of Thunder. If nothing else, you can spare having to add Shocking (Burst) to Mjolnir.

Power Attack -- The classic "Wind up and swing big" move.
