I have noticed many threads about not being able to purchase items from the website because of the inability to add a Shipping Address, so for giggles I went and looked at "My Account" to verify that my Shipping Address was ok.
Well, under "My Subscriptions" on the "My Account" page, there is a phrase in BOLD RED Subscriptions cannot be processed without a shipping address.. Huh? I looked and my Address is listed as "Other Address", and under "My Address" on the "My Account" page it says that I have zero active address.
I think I figured out what occurred. I was a Charter AP subscriber, and my Address has been the same since the beginning. Because my wife and I are both retired now, and we need to ensure that the financials are working (and I am not interested in Iron Gods AP), I cancelled my AP subscription, which was my last subscription. At THAT point my "Shipping Address" became "Other Address".
Now, I have been able to order some PDFs (ie. no shipping needed), but I have not tried to order any physical product.
Also, I can not find a place / method to add a "Shipping Address".
I hope that this has been helpful in finding a solution(*) to the inability of some folks not being able to order product since they can not add a Shipping Address.

There are couple of places you can create a new shipping address.
1. When you create a payment method and click the "Select Address" button, there is a "Enter New Address" button at the top of the form.
2. During order cart checkout, shipping screen, you can "Select Another Address" then "Enter New Address".
What there is not is the ability to create a new address from the "My Address" section of "My Account". In hindsight, that might be useful. I've created a backlog item to add the ability to create new addresses in that section as well. Like everything in the backlog, there are no guarantees, but the idea is in there now.

Cort,
Thank you for the information. My intent was more along the lines of debugging the issue for others. Right now, the address that is listed as "Other Address" is the Address that I have used since AP volume #1. I changed nothing. What changed is I no longer have any subscriptions. I was hoping that could point the PMG and others to a section of code in order to debug the issue that others are having.
