I'm planning out my games for Gencon, and hit a minor snag. All the PFS games are listed at 5 hours. There's a non-pfs game I'm signed up for that overlaps on the last hour of the PFS game. I know most PFS games were designed for only 4 hours, but in practice it doesn't always happen. I've seen some happen in 3, and some over 5.
I could just skip the slot and have a 4 hour break, but I'd rather have another game. I will of course tell the judge of my problem at the start of game, and if I'll have to bail early I'll just take my partial credit.
So, what I'm looking for is a game on this list that typically runs quickly, and might finish in less than 4 hours.
0-06: black waters
1-38: no plunder, no pay
2-02: before the dawn 2
2-03: the rebel's ransom
2-10: Fury of the Fiend
4-04: king of the storval stairs
4-07: severing ties
4-08: the cultist's kiss
4-10: feast of sigils
4-11: the disappeared
4-12: the refuge of time
4-13: fortress of the nail
4-14: my enemy's enemy
4-17: tower of the ironwood watch
4-20: words of the ancients
4-22: Halls of dwarven lore
4-23: rivalry's end
4-24: the Price of Friendship
4-25: the secrets stones keep
4-26: The waking rune
5-02: the wardstone patrol
5-03: the hellknight's feast

Cant guarentee you'd be at my table, but every table of The Disappeared and Severing Ties I have run (about 6xs combined total) have run shurt. Generally 3ish hours.
In regards to The Disappeared, I concur with Seth. I've played it once, GMed it thrice and it ran short all four times.

I would recommend if you feel you can't complete a scenario that you don't sign up for them.
It can be very frustrating to the other players when a Player leaves early.
In general having to leave due to an emergency players are understanding, but going into a game knowing you may or won't be able to complete it is/can be considered poor gaming etiquette to some.
Edit: Also always assume a Game ran at a Convention Setting will/can run longer then a home game day setting. The mixture of unfamiliar players with unfamiliar GM can slow things down.

I don't want to leave a game before it's done either. That's why I wanted to see what typically ends early.
Since the system won't let me pre-order for an overlapped game, I'm just getting some generic tickets, and I'll see what's open at game time. If it doesn't work out, I'll just use them on something else.
