Creating an 'event' for PACG OP

Has anyone created an event on the PFS events page for PACG OP?

In spite of the fact that my copy of S&S seems to have gotten lost on the way to UPS and the fact that my local VC still doesn't have any info on OP for PACG, I've got the local store signed up and we will start something, even if it is just normal non-OP play.

I tried to create an event, but the page seems to still be geared toward the RPG. It has lots of RPG scenarios that you can check as the ones that will be available for play, but no options for the card game. I guess I could create an event with no scenarios listed. Was just wondering what everybody else was doing with this.

Yea, I can't set one up either, I'm guessing it won't be an option until September when OP starts.

I sent my VC a message on July 24, and haven't gotten a response of any kind. I know more info was supposed to be available after GenCon, and I kinda wish I could get that. My store knows I'm running it there, the VC said back in April it wouldn't be an issue, I just hope the shop set up with Paizo whatever they need to do for that. I was disappointed to hear about the delays due to manufacturing issues (totally understandable), I hope that a lack of communication doesn't delay it further...

Isn't Guild play delayed until September anyway? I'd imagine a few things are lagging behind right now.

There's only one reason it was delayed, a major production issue with class decks. If it weren't for that, PACG would be 100% on schedule. It sucks, but I'd rather wait a bit than get a poor product (and it's nice to know Paizo feels the same way)

My local store, though on the list, still hasn't received any information while I was away. I checked yesterday. I'm a bit concerned now.

I am going to contact my VC in order to see about becoming a VL for just the PFSACG, though.

PS-I found out another disconcerting item ... none of the distributors got their shipments of S&S base set or Character Add-on decks the week of GenCon. Nor was it available at distributors this week. And that's just the base stuff, not the class decks that we knew about!!! What is going on, Paizo? Why didn't S&S hit distributors and local stores at least for this week? (The local gaming store told me they had an email saying they pushed release to this week.)

I ended up setting up an event for the Skull and Shackles adventure path and explained what it was in the details in order to create an event. Once Paizo has Season 0 for PFSACG up, I will switch it over. =)
