Can a technological item be enhanced magically in the same was as a conventional masterwork object?
I think so. There are a few examples (the "Null blade" for one) that combine magic & tech.

On an unrelated note, it looks like slow weapons can't be used with vital strike. That's sad. :(
Unfortunate. But a full vital striked "X-laser" still does 20d6 damage on a touch attack...
A lot of these weapons could work decently with vital strike, seeing their number of dice (save, of course, the slow ones).
Or vital strike rocket launcher. Ouch.
Rocket launcher is slow-firing though.
