add one random armor from the box to your hand

I am sure this has been asked, but I am having trouble finding the answer.
I defeated the Trapped Locker, and it says add one random armor from the box to your hand. I assume I reach for the box and grab an armor card form the middle of that deck. Does this card go direct to my hand, or in to my player deck?
If my hand is full, do I need to either discard the new card or make room for it in my hand?
any help would be appreciated.
Oh, and I love this game by the way.

When you get a boon like that it goes into your hand. You don't have to worry about your hand limit until you get to the Reset phase of your turn. Maybe you got lucky and got some magic armor that you could recharge then, rather than discard if you didn't want it in your hand right then.
