Labelling Concern

I have a concern with the labelling of my orders.

I subscribe to book lined and one of the advantages of this is that I avoid any import tax (books are not subject to UK import tax).

Unfortunately, my last subscription box was labelled as containing "merchandise" rather than books. It's an invitation to inappropriate taxation: would you please revert to labelling your books as 'books'?

This does not typically happen. Please email us a picture of the label, and we would be glad to look into this further.

I just had a look and it has gone in the recycling.

I put this on my to-do list a few weeks ago and just got back from my honeymoon, so no image I am afraid.

I'm glad to know this isn't a change in policy.

I have a feeling the last Campaign Setting release was a map folio instead of a book - any chance it was that?

Whenever there's a mix of books and maps in the same box USPS seem to love shoving their own incorrect customs label over the top of the correct Paizo one, with just a single-line summary of contents instead of an itemized one.

Oh, not again. We had a spate of this happening a while ago and it seemed to get fixed. It is a real pain fighting the charges to get them reversed, as you need to deal with both Border Force and Royal Mail.

That's part of why I was hoping for a picture, so I could look into things a little more.

GeraintElberion, I'll try to do some more digging from our end, though at this point, I will likely not have an update until mid next week or so. Please bump this thread if you haven't seen a response by Wednesday or so.

Here in France, we are very rarely charged import tax for packages under $100 so I'm not really concerned. Still, it would be better if books were labeled as books so that if for once taxes were collected, the correct rate was applied.

I've just sent a picture of the label on my order #3201185 box.
