I need to build a 5th level character for a short adventure in an adventure for Way of the Wicked. The idea is that we play the "good guys" who are out to kill the villains that we normally play. To keep the story going I decided to play the brother of my Aasimar Evangelist of Asmodeus. For personality, I was going for Captain Ahab/Javert, so he's actually more of an anti-hero.
Ruleswise, we get 15 pointbuy, 5 levels, 2 traits and 3450gp. (The amount an NPC would get.) Now I want this guy to be as intimidating as possible. This is what I've got so far, he should have +17 intimidate. (+19 when raging)
A couple of things, as the older brother of my character, he has to be a middleaged Human. (I know, Half-Orc would be awesome.) He doesn't have any divine powers. he gets Dazzling Display from the Order of the Cocktrice. He's probably gonna die anyway, so I don't need to know what he should take beyond level 5.
His main power is his intimidate combined with Braggart, Intimidating Glare, Dazzling Display and/or Frightening.
Kayn, middleaged Human Barbarian 2/Cavalier 2/Thug 1
Str 16 (5)
Dex 12 (3)
Con 12 (3)
Int 10 (-1)
Wis 10 (-1)

The cost from point buy. Kayn is middleaged, so he takes the +1 bonus and -1 penalty from aging. He can still use 3 points. He could lower his Int by 1 so he can raise his Cha to 16, or he could lower his Int by 2 to raise his Str to 18. I'm thinking about the latter
I'd think he'd need to raise his Will, so Iron Will wouldn't be a bad choice. He's gonna get a mount, so he could use Mounted Combat.
Intimidate 5 ranks + 2 cha + 4 str + 3 class skill + 3 skill focus +1 trait +2 rage = +20
Frightening from the Thug archetype adds one round being shaken.
Intimidating Glare lets you use a move action to intimidate someone in combat during rage.
Braggart lets him use Dazzling Display and adds 2 to his attacks against demoralized opponents.
If I'd take the Urban Barbarian archetype he'd gain a +1 on intimidate checks versus crowds, would that work with Dazzling Display?

Going for Bludgeoner and Enforcer might be to much focus on the intimidation or at least a bit of overkill (is that overscare?) but could be fun for a short lived all-in type of build. Going for non-leathal also mechanically sets him apart from his brother in making him the "good" or at least batmanny (totally a word) brother.

And the Foulspawn Tiefling would add another +2 without a -2 penalty. I really want to play him as a human though. In fact, he should be the badass without special powers.
Bludgeoner plus Enforcer is good, but he already has the Intimidating Glare rage power. While not exactly the same, it is similar enough to not waste 2 feats on it. I see I could also just use a sap, and not take the Bludgeoner feat though.
Hmm, that would eliminate the need to take 2 levels of Barbarian to get a rage power...
Than again, my tactic would be to start with a Dazzling Display. If someone is unaffected or there's only one opponent I could go into rage and use Intimidating Glare. Enforcer isn't as useful, because you'd make an attack followed by an attempt to demoralize, while Kayn get's a +2 morale on attack rolls against demoralized targets. I should demoralize before I attack, not after.
