locked guantlet questions

I was wondering the following thing:
i play a ranger with sword and shield two weapon style, I have a spiked shield as primary weapon and heavy pick as secondary weapon.
can i when i move and have only 1 attack drop my heavy pick which is locked so that I can attack with the shield two handed. and then the next round grap my heavy pick and do a full attack with both weapons?

Removing a weapon from a locked gauntlet is a full-round action. It's not explicit, but I would also assume that you unlock it with your other hand.
