If you have an Aasimar with the Scion of Humanity racial trait, and thus count as Humanoid(Human)for 'any effect related to race', does this mean you choose an Ethnicity? Would that ethnicity grant you an appropriate language? Also, would you be able to take a trait tied to that ethnicity, or do you instead take the Adopted trait for Human (ethnicity) to get said trait?
I know PFS has had rules involving Scion of Humanity, ethnicity choices, etc. I wanted to make sure this character was made correctly for society play.

This is my Angelkin Aasimar Oracle, who I decided would have descended from the Kellids of the Realm of the Mammoth Lords.
In the end, I decided to play it cautiously and didn't give myself Hallit automatically, but took it as my bonus language for having a 12 Intelligence, as well as avoiding any racial character traits (luckily Spirit Animal was a Regional trait).
Hopefully that's helpful.

AFAIK - Aasimar can only take Sylvan, Gnome, Halfling, Draconic, Elven, and Dwarven with intelligence. To get Hallit you'd have to get it through Linguistics
Well, there's this...
Step 3: Languages
Your race and class selection impact what languages you start with. All characters gain Common as a free language. You gain free languages granted by your race, ethnicity (for humans), and class (e.g., Druidic for druids). If you have a high Intelligence modifier, you may select bonus languages from those listed in your race’s entry in the Core Rulebook and the Modern Human Languages list (The Inner Sea World Guide 251).
So in the PFS campaign, you can select your bonus languages from your racial entry, any class-specific options, or the Modern Human Languages list (assuming you own The Inner Sea World Guide).
