1. Batman

3. The Flash
4. Superman
5. Ironman
6. Ghost Rider
7. Wolverine
8. Wonder Woman
9. Spider-Man
10. Green Lantern (John Stewart)
I gotta admit, I almost listed him. Probably should have, since over the years I've grown to like his character better. But I guess the traditionalist in my overwhelmed. I should have just not named a specific one, like I did with The Flash and Ghost Rider.

This is a very good point.
Have you been reading the latest run of Moon Knight? I've thoroughly enjoyed it.
Whereas I haven't regularly collected a Batman comic in years, even though he's my favorite. The way they've been writing him ever since that complete tool Grant Morrison (whom I once had respect for), just turned me off.

Same with Green Lantern, sadly. Ever since they started that whole "there's only so much emotional spectrum energy in the whole universe and the Green Lanterns now have to be d*~@$eads and police everyone else who tries to use it", I dropped that s%~@ like a hot potato.
this thread will explode from the sheer amount of truth in this one post.
I truly hate Hal as a result of this storyline.

Another entertaining episode of Gotham last night. Especially considering I simply fast-forwarded through the parts with Fish Moony. I just really dislike that character and find her annoying. And the storyline they're currently putting her through - pirates and some mysterious prison (Santa Prisca, maybe?) is just blah!

Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto,
Mata ah-oo hima de
Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto,
Himitsu wo shiri tai
You're wondering who I am-machine or mannequin
With parts made in Japan, I am the modren man
I've got a secret I've been hiding under my skin
My heart is human, my blood is boiling, my brain I.B.M.
So if you see me acting strangely, don't be surprised
I'm just a man who needed someone, and somewhere to hide
To keep me alive-just keep me alive
Somewhere to hide to keep me alive
I'm not a robot without emotions-I'm not what you see
I've come to help you with your problems, so we can be free
I'm not a hero, I'm not a saviour, forget what you know
I'm just a man whose circumstances went beyond his control
Beyond my control-we all need control
I need control-we all need control
I am the modren man, who hides behind a mask
So no one else can see my true identity
Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, domo...domo
Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, domo...domo
Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, domo...domo
Thank you very much, Mr. Roboto
For doing the jobs that nobody wants to
And thank you very much, Mr. Roboto
For helping me escape just when I needed to
Thank you-thank you, thank you
I want to thank you, please, thank you
The problem's plain to see: too much technology
Machines to save our lives. Machines dehumanize.
The time has come at last
To throw away this mask
So everyone can see
My true identity...
I'm Kilroy! Kilroy! Kilroy! Kilroy!

My in-laws are coming in town today. So we'll have them, my brother and his family, and maybe my wife's great aunt and uncle over to the house tomorrow. I plan to cook something in the smoker. Originally was going to make it a pork loin (or two, depending on size), but now my wife is asking for maybe chicken. Not sure.

Lastly, what kind of a+!#&~% drives 300+ miles to visit for his grandson's birthday, only to turn around and leave Sunday morning, before the aforementioned grandson is awake to say goodbye, just so said a%!@%!@ can go to a gun show (something that happens in Louisiana like every other day)?
My father-in-law. That's what kind.

Oh, I don't mind a little disagreement. But when that's all it ever is.....? That's no longer friendship.
