Mythic simple template and Mythic Power

I'm experimenting with creating critters using mythic simple templates. But here's my issue. According to the rules (as I read them) the mythic simple templates don't really grant uses of mythic power. Yet certain abilities (i.e., the divine and arcane templates' simple spellcasting) allow the critter to cast mythic spells by expending mythic power ... so ... does the simple template grant uses of mythic power or not?

Looks like an oversight. All creatures with Mythic Rank should have the Mythic Power Universal Monster Ability, or at the very least an amount of Mythic Power equal to their Mythic Rank.

Edit: looks like a good case for an FAQ:

Do creatures modified by a Mythic Simple Template gain the Mythic Power Universal Monster Ability, or just uses of Mythic Power equal to their Mythic Rank (as written, the Mythic Simple Templates do not allow the use of Mythic abilities)?
