Heya.
So in the old timers thread its come to my attention there are some TC folks looking for a game or meetup. Well lets talk it out here.
I live in Nordeast MPLS have a basement gaming area as well as a screen porch for playing. I am close to source and FFG shops. I prefer FFG for gaming and probably meeting up too.
Systems familiar:
PF/D&D
Call of Cthulhu
Traveller
Savage Worlds
Board games:
Too many to list. I like BGs as much as TTRPGs
I am back in school and have a regular game or two currently. Though I do occasionally get a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday off.
Thats me in a nut shell, so please introduce yourselves and lets work on a meetup and/or game session.
cheers,
Pan

My name is my screen name (how's that for OLD). I live in Plymouth, have a cracking new basment gaming area of my own and am just west of the intersection of CR 9 and 169.
I am familiar with PF and D&D. Beyond this my gaming experience in other RPGs stopped as of 2000 so I don't know any games/editions after that year. That being said, here's the old games I know and still have:
Marvel Super Heroes
White Wolf/World of Darkness (Vampire/Werewolf/Wraith)
Runequest
Call of Cthulu
Cyberpunk
Palladium (Rifts/TMNT/Ninjas & Superspies)
As for board games I own none but have played many. A lot were FFG games though I also enjoy classic euro games like Catan and Pandemic.
I have a wife and 2 daughters (10 and 12); I also work 50-60 hours a week. That being said I generally have weeknights and the occasional weekend night free. I have a gaming group already and right now my game is a homebrew PF game 1/month, but I'm looking to play more.
Oh, and lastly I just picked up both Lost City of Barakus and Rappan Athuk from Frog God Games. I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin; maybe there's a dungeon crawl in your future...
Oh, and pps: I don't have a problem being a player but I've been the defacto GM for 30+ years of gaming. That doesn't mean I'm any good at it, just that no one else wanted to run this whole time. That being said I'm good either way.

Village Games in Anoka usually has some people hanging out looking to join or start games. Just FYI. Nice shop, lots of play space, friendly staff.

@ Bryan and Morgen: Hi. Bryan, hope the new job is working out.
I'm around in July most nights save the 11th and 12th. I have a PF one shot I can run (homebrew, no house rules, no gunslingers though :( sorry) or if someone has a module/AP they want to run, or they want to play something else I'm open. Isn't Village Games mostly miniatures or am I thinking of something else?

Hello, I'm Garret. Currently I game on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday, so my schedule is pretty full (though a lot of specific nights tend to fall through). Currently playing:
Lady Blackbird
Pathfinder homebrew (co-DM)
13th Age (via roll20)
Nights Black Agents
Pendragon (year 503 of The Great Campaign)
Monster of the Week
Plus a random assortment of one-shots in various systems, or boardgames instead of an rpg
I play lots of boardgames:
Hansa Teutanica
Imperial 2030
Tzolkien
Eclipse
Terra Mystica
...To name a few
I wouldn't be able to commit to a regular thing, but I'd be interested in either a meet and greet, boardgames, one shots or short series. I have an awesome rpg about killing gods that I love to run and evangelize about (plays perfect with 3-4 players and is contained within 4-5 hours).

Sorry guys was going to post again as a reminder. I ended up not doing so because I am in homework hell as I work to end my summer semester. So I wasnt up at FFG on saturday :(
It will be a few weeks before I am free again but ill try and put something together for us then. Its close, I can almost feel the free.....Oh crap classes start up again on August 25th. Ill keep an eye on this thread.

That reminds me: when I get my poop in a group I need to get back out to Hennepin Tech for the next round of business classes.
I'll keep an eye on this thread as well. Life is going to be silly for me over the next few weeks with the summer ending, kids camps getting sporadic and then getting them into school after Labor Day. Still after struggling to find gamers in the TCs for years only to find you were all right here the whole time, it seems counter-intuitive not to try and connect.

All righty then. I've got the kids in school, work schedule is normalizing; we can DO this. This week and weekend are a bust for me due to personal stuff. Next week is tough too. Right now I'm looking 3 weeks out.
Pan-tastic: you seem to be like the primary respondent on this thread but I'll throw this out to everyone and anyone. Would you folks rather do an evening or weekend day? I haven't properly board-gamed in a while but I also don't own any - I always relied on a friend to supply the games and he's moved out of state.
I'm proposing we head to FFG in Roseville. If need be we can borrow board games. I know Descent 1 and 2, Talisman, and a couple others I've played once or twice. If anyone has preferences throw 'em on the thread. Again let us know what you'd prefer in terms of evening or weekend day and think the week of the 15th.

Hi my name is Aaron. I live in Brooklyn Park near 252 and 85th. I currently have a game I am DMing on Sunday nights.(though that might change to Saturday) when it comes to TTRPGs I am really only familiar with 3.5e and Pathfinder.
My girlfriend and I have been looking for a game run on either of those two systems(preferably Pathfinder but 3.5 is good too.) to play in regularly if anyone has open spots. I love DMing but sometimes I just wanna play and not know what's coming.
